"The master class at Refinement Records gave me the opportunity to have one-on-one interactions with industry professionals I would normally never have access to. I now have a continuing relationship with them and have been able to build off of their contacts. It is rare to be able to get any time with people as influential as those Refinement Records hosts - I recommend taking advantage of any networking opportunity you can get because as you've surely heard, it's all about relationships!”
-Taylor Olson, Los Angeles, CA
"I had a wonderful time at the fall workshop weekend. Getting to perform for such esteemed professionals was a treat enough, but to have my song critiqued was something special. I learned a lot about the music business and about writing songs to sell. I learned how to refine my songs from their raw state. It was very exciting. The biggest honor was being chosen as one of the four who got a one on one meeting. That was so enlightening. I love that I got to ask personal questions and was given a quality road map to accomplish the goals I've set for myself."
-Brian Bingham, Sandy, UT
“It's not every day you get first-hand feedback from the pros on how to improve your craft as a songwriter, but also why it's important to stay true to who you are. One of my favorite things they said was, 'Don't try to write what you think the music industry needs... instead, show the music industry that they need you, and the only way to do that is by being yourself.' This only was the beginning of many master classes I look forward to attending at Refinement Records!”
-Eliza Smith, Salt Lake City, UT
